Barndominiums built from pole barns are the new DIY project trend these days. When it came to heating this 3,600-square-foot project, adding a hydronic radiant system was the only choice. Our customer’s dream was to build a home and a workspace with heating throughout, so he could comfortably live and work indoors during Yakima’s cold winters. With lots of all-terrain toys to tinker with and store during off-seasons, radiant heating provides the best option for keeping the ground warm and storing the boats and snowmobiles in a warm, dry environment. The living space has a separate zone valve and loop system to provide a more comfortable home than is needed in the shop.
